For a flight you already know you need: Navia combines conversational search, saved travellers, in-app checkout and support for the booking. You can download it from the German App Store and start with your route and dates.

What is different about the two products?

Instinct presents itself as a personal assistant reached by text or call. Navia is built around flying: a trip request becomes flight options, a reviewed purchase and a booking you can return to. This narrower scope is useful when you want your next departure, passenger details and invoice in a predictable place.

Instinct should not be dismissed as a research-only chatbot. Its founder’s October flight announcement describes one-tap booking and help with disrupted trips, initially through early access. We have not independently timed either product or confirmed Instinct’s current country-by-country access.

Try one concrete trip, not a vague travel question

A practical comparison starts with a request such as: “Berlin to Paris on 12 November, arriving before 2 pm, returning on 14 November after 6 pm. One adult, cabin baggage, no checked bag.” Check whether the suggested airports, local times and fare actually match. A friendly answer is useful only if it leads to an itinerary you would buy.

In Navia, the next steps stay in the app: choose the available flight, select saved traveller information, inspect the total and authorise payment. Saved details reduce repeated typing on later trips. You still review names, dates and documents; fast checkout is not permission for an unreviewed purchase.

Check access before comparing features

Navia has a German App Store listing and a Google Play listing. This makes it a practical starting point for travellers in Germany. Flights to an international destination and permission to use an app in a particular country are different questions. Check the store available to your account when travelling or downloading elsewhere.

For Instinct, check current sign-up and flight-feature access directly. A launch announcement or a traveller’s successful booking does not prove that every new user can access the same flow. We do not label an undocumented feature as missing.

Choose who will look after the booking

Before paying, know where you will request a change, add an extra or ask for help. Navia keeps those requests connected to your booking and deals with the airline for you. Supported actions, fare differences and refund eligibility still depend on the airline and ticket. Saving a loyalty number also does not promise miles on every fare.

If you mainly want fewer steps for repeat flights and one place to manage them, try Navia. If you want a wider personal assistant, evaluate Instinct with the same itinerary and check its current access. Our post-booking guide explains the questions to ask before either purchase.
